Hi, when are we supposed to pay the camp fee? I am worried that i cannot make it for the camp last minute, as i may have to attend something important. Can i withdraw from the camp if that is really the case?

Hi all, here are the answers to your questions.
To iwt: The objective of this camp is to orientate freshmen. So programmes are planned in a way where by interaction among freshmen are maximised. At the same time, through our games we hope to help you learn how to navigate in the University. So you can expect loads of team building games and telematches. Hope I answered your question

To JL: I’m sorry to say that shorts are not allowed as the University’s pool has its own set of regulations. And for us to be using it, we have to follow these regulations closely. Hence, only swimming trunks are allowed for guys.

To TL: Camp fees are only collected when you meet your GLs either the day before 14th July or on the first day itself. So long as you have not paid the camp fees, we have no right to force you to pay it if you cant attend. however, we had to collect full camp fees even though you cant stay through the entire camp as accomodations and meals are already ordered and paid for once your registration is complete.

To TL: Well if I were to tell you everything it wont be fun for you anymore will it?
But to keep you prepared, we ask u to bring running shoes so that you can walk around the campus, dirty clothes to let you be dirty and wet with. Expect to have some telematches and loads of cheering. Hope I kept you excited.

To dennis: yes, your OGL will contact you about the meeting time, and which OG you are in after registration is closed. Registration closing on 7th July. You should be getting their calls after that.

To iwt: I would say your 5 other sets of clothes will be safe. and yup you may join us back. just inform your OGL when you are leaving and when you are coming back. Although it is that you try to be present at least for the first 3 days.

To JL: It must be a swim suit. Shorts are not allowed. But two piece swim suits are ok. It should be alright if you wear your full set bikini instead.

To Zhen Wei and Joy: The meeting place and time will be arranged by your OGL. They will meet you at a mrt station and guide you to the school. So do take note of your GL’s instruction about where and when to meet.

To freshie1 and new: Yes, the small gift is for the opposite gender. Well its a small gift. The price range doesn’t really matter, so long as you have a gift. $5 is a small estimation of what we can get for a small gift these days. If you can get something nice as a gift for lesser den $5 will also do. Its the thought that counts!
