Here are some frequently asked questions. If you have other questions, please feel free to leave a comment.

Qn. Can you please give me examples of smart casual wear?

Ans. Something like what you wear for clubbing or a formal dinner/date.MALE: Collared shirt, shoes, jeans/pants. FEMALE: Dress/ Nice top and a skirt (Preferably no flip-flops and t-shirts)

Qn. Will there be a clubbing event?

Ans. No.

Qn. How do we know if we are shortlisted for the camp?

Ans. You will be informed by your OGL. There is no selection done for this camp, hence the moment you sign up, you are most likely in the camp already.

Qn. Where do we sleep for the nights? Can we sleep in hostel?

Ans. For the first 3nights, you will be sleeping in the hostel we have arranged for the camp. On the 4th night, we will be staying out of campus (exact location to be confirmed)

Qn. Is a sleeping bag really required?

Ans. It will be better to bring. You won’t want to be sleeping on a hard and cold floor on the 4th night.

Qn. Is shirt/shorts allowed in for the pool games?

Ans. No. According to the pool rules and regulations, all pool users are to wear proper swimming costumes.

Qn. When do I pay the camp fees?

Ans. You will pay the fees to your assigned group leaders before the camp. Don’t worry, the group leaders will contact you.

Qn. Will I get to be in the same group as my friend?

Ans. You all randomly arranged for you to make more friends. In each group, there will be a good mix of guys and girls.

Qn. What do you mean by small gift for? How small must it be? Must I wrap the present?

Ans. The price of the present is up to you, a good estimation will be having the gift at less then $5 or $10 bucks. It is up to you whether you want to wrap not, the most important thing is to bring the present. =]

Qn. Is the 2 set of clothes for dirty games included in the 5sets of clothes we need to bring?

Ans. No. The 2 sets of clothes for the dirty games is an addition to the 5 sets of clothes. The games can get quite dirty, hence the 2set of clothes can be clothes that you don’t want already, so after the games, you can just throw them away

Qn. Are there any disadvantages for those who can’t swim? Is there any swimming involved?

Ans. It is more of pool games and not swimming. Lifejackets will be provided too.

Qn. Will food be provided? If yes, will there be vegetarian food provided?

Ans. Yes, food will be provided. Indicate on the registration form if you need vegetarian/halal food; there will be arrangements made.

Qn. Dimensions of camp shirt.

Ans: It’s males size S M and L. So small to average size girls are advised to take the S shirts.

Qn: When are we supposed to pay the camp fee? I am worried that i cannot make it for the camp last minute. Can i withdraw from the camp if that is really the case?

Ans: We understand that there are always last minute cases. So we will confirm and let you make your payment one day before or maybe on the first day of the camp (to be confirmed). However, once payment made and registration is done, refund is not applicable as we already confirmed your attendance and ordered your food and accommodation. And we need to pay for that even if  you couldn’t make it for the camp.
